Our Hobbies/Business

I’m a Doula, currently taking some time off to raise my son. I studied through Birth Arts International. Birth and pregnancy are a passion of mine and I feel it’s incredibly important for woman to be informed and be able to have the best chance at having the birth experience they want. Even if things don’t go as planned, I want them to feel supported and safe. That’s where I come in. There’s no greater joy than to help bring a blessing into this world. I named my business Blessing Moon Birth Services in honor of my son. He was born on a Full moon last July which is also known as a “Blessing Moon” (along with several other names but I definitely gravitated towards this one). He is the biggest blessing I could hoped for ❤

I also have a huge passion for natural healing and holistic health. I’ve been making remedies for my family for years and recently started selling my products with hopes to help other families as well. For the most part I’m a self taught herbalist, but have also done courses here and there with HerbMentor. I strongly believe in whole, gentle plants as medicine. Knowledge and wisdom passed down generations, no pill for every ill, or one stop cure all, but supporting the whole body, mind and spirit.

I created a site you can visit if you are interested in my services or just want to know more about what it’s like being a Doula: http://xprs.imcreator.com/free/beebow/blessing-moon

I also have a Facebook page you can check out as well for reviews and updates: https://www.facebook.com/Blessingmoonbirthservices/

My husband recently started his business with drone photography. He has been flying drones for a couple years and recently got into the photography aspect of it. It’s something him and our son love doing together (he wears our little guy and they have a blast!). His business is called Elevated Concepts Photography. He’s still in the works with his website and building a portfolio but will be taking clients for events, real estate, or really anything you can think of. His passion however, is nature photography and getting to see a different perspective of the world, from a “birds eye view” if you will.  He’s always been more “techy” than I but had yet to find his passion until he got into drones. He’s really quite good at it! If you’d like to take a look, visit his Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/eleconmedia/
